Install instructions
For PC Download
1. Download the file.
2. Open the downloaded zip file and open the "OverNight-1.0-pc" folder.
3. Double click on "OverNight" Application and press "Extract all"
4. A message will pop up, and press "Extract"
5. The folder browser will pop out after extracting, and click on the folder "OverNight-1.0-pc"
6. Double click on "OverNight" Application, and the game will begin!
For MAC Download
Inside the application (right click/control + click) you can select Show Package Contents. Then navigate through the folders Contents -> MacOS. There's 5 files there that are saved as docs (out of 6). You need to convert them to executables.
Launch your Terminal app, 'cd' to the correct directory where the application is saved (using 'ls' (that's a lowercase L) can show you all the folders you can cd into), 'cd' into the application's contents to the same MacOS folder, and then use the command 'chmod 755 OverNight' to convert, repeating for the other 4 files.

Unfortunately, there is no Android version at the moment. We will try our best to implement it later as we develop the game, but we will be focusing on PC/MAC for now.

Hello, I'm considering supporting the kickstarter. How long would you consider the game? Are the character paths going to be comparable to say Camp Buddy? and do you have any idea for when the game would be released?

Thank you for considering! We plan for 20+ chapters and multiple endings and routes! Most likely 20+ hours of game play, as each chapter will roughly be 1 hour. You can see more information at our site! We talk all about it. Game release is to be determined since we are new to this, I can't officially say, but I am thinking about 1 year and a half to 2 years.
What happens if your kickstarter doesn't get funded?
I hate the idea of all or nothing, I obviously wouldn't want this game to cease development because of lack of funding.

In the unfortunate event that we do not meet our goal, we will still do our best to make the game, albeit to a lesser extent than initially envisioned. This means a longer development time (since it's just me and my co-developer, Zero), no voice acting, no original composed music, no official/studio-quality background art, and a shorter storyline (It won't be a fully fleshed-out game like we want). Essentially, it would become a brief game.

loved the demo. have two questions for you.
1. is every character versatile (meaning they will bottom/top with MC?)
2. what are the height/weight of all the characters?
Yes, everyone will be versatile!
We have Height and weight, but it will be a lot to type out at the moment. We'll create a chart sometime in the future to display their stats.

Ryohei 5'10 or 177 CM
Takahashi 5'11 or 180CM
Ha-wan is 6'3 or 190 CM

I agree with Zakaries on this!! I really love how excited Suiko is with school and everything and that he is so interested in the male teachers. I really love Takahashi as my favorite character to tease him into finishing. Also... possibly a recommendation... try to include his classmate; Ryohei in the next demo... Aside from everything. I look forward to next year December for a possibly game to play during my spicy holiday :)
Lovely game and tbh i cant wait to play it all, i went to your kickstarter to support you but i realise you dont have an option to just get the digital copy of the game? you have or the "third years" option or the "second year", but no between and i think more people would happy to support you with that option, anyways, i really hope the kickstart to go well! <3333

If you add that option, don't forget to publish it in all your social apps, so of there were people who didn't buy it before, could afford it now

If we get tremendous support and pledges for our Kickstarter funding. We can most likely sell the game at a much more affordable price, so everyone can play! We, as devs, also need some revenue to help us make more games you enjoy!

This game so far looks super promising! I have a question, i didn't end (yet) the first chapter lol but are we going to have the options to choose between top/bottom? Or at least will MC have the option to top everyone in a scene?
Nothing bad with the bottom options is just there are a lot of bottommc but i cant find a lot of top mc, even more when mc tops bigger or more masculine love interest haha
Yes! The MC will get to top and bottom! We will be exploring a lot of topping, bottoming, and other things lol. Once you get to the second chapter, it will be revealed about the MC's position lol XD!

I was so excited to download the game, but I've run into an issue with playing the Mac Version of the demo; I open the ZIP Folder and when I try to open the "OverNight" application, I get a popup saying "The application "Overnight" can't be opened" with no other explanation. I was wondering if I could get some help?

Your MacOS files are not saved as executables (saved docs). Manually changing them seems to have fixed it.

can you help with the Mac download? Can't figure out how to make the docs into executables xD I'm able to cd Downloads , but then I'm lost, computer keeps telling me that it cant find an "OverNight" file
Took forever to find the game page since the link was incorrect on bsky and when typing the title of the game on the itch search bar, it wouldn't show up as any of the search results. Can't wait to try it though 👍
